Pinewood Presbyterian Adult Sunday School Ministry
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the traditions of men, according to the basic principles of the world and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Commitments
The Adult Education Ministry is committed to
· Designing an Adult Biblical education course of study that:
1. Addresses the need for all Christian adults to be rooted and grounded in the “basics” of Bible knowledge, Bible doctrines and principles of Christian living.
2. Systematically teaches the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
3. Demonstrates that the Bible sufficiently addresses all of our everyday concerns whether those concerns are marital, parental, financial or spiritual.
4. Clearly presents the Biblical basis of Reformed theology.
· Providing elective classes that fall under at least one of the following content areas each quarter:

· Developing wise and mature Christians through the teaching of Biblical truth with application to our everyday lives.
· Making the study of the Holy Scriptures, not merely the writings or thoughts of fallible men, the focal point of this ministry.
