The Senior Saints provide a vital ministry in our church but we need your help to continue our fellowship and service to each other and Pinewood.  Please prayerfully consider volunteering for one of the following positions for the coming year (September ’08-May ’09): we still need a Club Chairman, Program/Trip Chairman, someone to head the Luncheon/Dinner Committee, and a Publicity Chairman.  Call Bill or Nancy Brown, 272-7177, to ask questions about any of these positions.

Live Simulcast to be Hosted by Pinewood – According to a 2003 Barna study, only 9% of professing Christians have a biblical worldview. The evidence of this is all around us in a culture where we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and find ourselves wondering what life's ultimate purpose really is. We are losing our bearings as a people and as a nation. Yet God's Truth exists, and it is within reach if we seek it. If not for us…. we must inform the next generation.  Pinewood is hosting (Focus on the Family’s) The Truth Project Live Simulcast on September 27th. It’s an all-day Saturday event and we’re the only participating church in NE Florida. This will be a huge opportunity for Pinewood to reach out and lead in our community. Check out http://www.ccn.tv/truth/We get free tickets with each block of 10 if we order before the end of April. Please help by attending and inviting friends.  Call or email Alan or Mary Lib Stevenson at truthproject@pinewoodpca.org / 272-7177.
