Mission

Love God. Love One Another. Love the Church. Love the World.

In order to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, the mission of Pinewood Presbyterian Church is to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission by growing mature and equipped followers of Jesus Christ, who Love God, Love One Another, Love the Church and Love the World.

It is in the Great Commandment that we find our directives to Love God and Love One Another:

"Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Matthew 22:37-40

It is in the Great Commission that we find our directives to Love the Church and Love the World:

"All authority has been given to Me in Heaven and on Earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:18-20
Pinewood attempts to fulfill this mission through four strategies:
·         By evangelizing the lost
·         By establishing believers in their faith
·         By equipping believers to labor and to do good works
·         By expressing our gratitude in worship and mercy
