Senior Pastor JD Funyak has 15 years of full-time ministry experience, and for the last 10 years has been an ordained minister in the PCA. He graduated from Grove City College with a B.A. in Religion and Political Science and earned his Master's of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. Pastor Funyak is currently earning his Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis.
Pastor John Findlay has served in full-time ministry for more than 30 years, 10 of which have been at Pinewood. John directs our Discipleship and Adult Education programs, organizes and encourages our Small Groups, and oversees our Adult Ministry programs. As Associate Pastor, he is an integral part of the daily organizational and administrative leadership of the church. Beyond Pinewood, John and his wife, Janice, serve as ministers to missionaries as a Pastoral Associate Couple for Mission to John received his Master's of Divinity from Reformed Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He is a graduate of Samford University and the University of Alabama-Birmingham. John and Janice have been married for more than 40 years and have two daughters and five grandchildren.
