Beliefs

Wondering what we believe at Pinewood? About God? How to live your life? Where to go for answers?

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word for us. We use it as our guide and our standard. Our hope is the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and our daily strength is in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that our purpose is to promote the Gospel of Jesus at home and throughout the world until He returns. We are conservative, but not old fashioned. We are Reformed. We are evangelical. And we are busy - busy obeying the Great Commission. Click here to read our full Affirmation of Faith.

We are a Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) congregation. The PCA came into existence nearly 40 years ago because its founders believed there was a deep need for a scriptural, evangelical and Reformed witness for Christ. We are one of more than 1700 churches in the US and across the world. Our leaders are regular and active members of the PCA’s General Assembly.
